Training Seminars

Firestone Specialty Products is pleased to offer a variety of regional training seminars throughout the United States. These seminars are taught by Firestone staff instructors, who typically have 10 or more years of geomembrane installation experience. Our instructors hold a variety of professional accreditations and memberships such as Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Golf Course Builders Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, ASTM D 35 Committee on Geosynthetics, International Association Geosynthetic Installers, Geosynthetic Materials Association and the National Association of Pond Professionals.

Free Tuition with a Web Registration
The regular tuition of $50 per person is currently being waived for all online registrants. The minimum class size is 10 people and the maximum class size per session is 30. Most classes fill up quickly, so please register as soon as possible. If a class does not have enough registrants, you will receive a notice of cancellation by email roughly two weeks before the class is scheduled.

Attendees are responsible for transportation to the training location and any incidental charges during their stay. A meal will be provided but attendees should bring a writing instrument.

PondGard Installation Training
The PondGard Installation Training is a four hour session combining classroom demonstrations, discussion, and video training followed by a question and answer opportunity with the Firestone Staff. This seminar is designed for individuals interested in residential and light commercial lining projects including backyard decorative ponds, retention ponds, waterfall features and the associated project nuances involved with these types of applications.

Recommended for landscape contractors, water feature designers and geomembrane installers.

Firestone Commercial & Industrial Geomembrane Specification Seminar
The Firestone Commercial & Industrial Geomembrane Specification Seminar is a one and one half hour session combining case
studies, specification writing assistance and installation recommendations followed by a question and answer opportunity with
the Firestone Staff.

Recommended for architects, engineers, government employees and designers who write specs for commercial and industrial
geomembrane applications.
