Extreme Durability
FlashGard is highly resistant to corrosion, abrasion and wear even when exposed to caustic materials present in, and used with, concrete and masonry. Additionally, FlashGard’s high modulus, excellent thermal and dimensional stability along with its superior resistance to weathering and ultraviolet radiation make it ideal for use in any masonry or concrete project.

Economical and Easy to Install
FlashGard can be installed by hand with standard construction tools, unlike rigid flashing materials that require special tools to install. When used with Firestone’s FlashGard Thru-Wall Adhesive tape, FlashGard requires no contact adhesives or primers to fabricate field seams, corners or end dams.

FlashGard can be adhered to parapets, caps, lintels, windows, shelf angles and base flashing applications. It is compatible with a variety of substrates and can be installed in mortar; exposed at the edge or used in conjunction with a stainless steel drip edge. And because of its excellent low temperature (to -49° F) flexibility properties, FlashGard is easy to handle and install year round.

FlashGard comes in a variety of panel sizes and is supported by a complete line of quality installation accessories including: Thru-Wall Adhesive Tape, Spray Primer, Polymer Batten Strip, Metal Termination Bar and Lap Sealant.
